First Sale!

Following signing up for an online course last week, my wife and I thought it would be a good idea to design a birth plan – for the expecting father. I am not sure about everyone else out there, but when it came to plans and preparations for the arrival of our children, Esther was prepared well in advance of the due date, bags were totally packed with everything that could possibly be needed, both for her and the baby and I went along with everything that she had prepared. We thought to ourselves, that there was an unfulfilled place for something similar for the expecting fathers too – what they should expect to do on the big day, how they can be the best support during the labour and a general plan once the baby arrives. Something like this would have been incredibly useful for us and for me to better understand how she would have liked me to act on the days of the babies arriving, so we made one.

Over the past week, since the website has developed (I know that there is still significant work to do), come up with a logo and colour scheme, we have chopped and changed the Birth Plan for Dads to make it more fitting and last night, we had our first sale. We are incredibly excited by this and it gives us that boost, knowing that there really is something incredibly positive about what we are doing and that we can provide substantial benefit to dads out there and also couples and families as a result of this.
